HFF

The Film & Television Academy (HFF) “Konrad Wolf” is the only art academy in the state of Brandenburg and the oldest and largest of the five media academies in Germany.

The HFF is an artistic media academy with training concentrated on film and television. New media technologies are also an integral part of the training programme, as well as the cultural roots of this media and the scholarly reflection on its historical and current forms. This takes place in an environment spanning the traditional and the modern, which supports both individual talent and the development of teamwork, from classical film stock to digital image and sound production. HFF offers courses for film professions as well as for technologically-creative jobs in IT branches.

The HFF supports the Campus Score Competition by offering three selected young composers or sound designers the final mixing for their composed scores for a new short film. The scores will premiere during the Campus, and the best score will be chosen by a jury and awarded during the Closing Ceremony.
