Talent Campus Guadalajara 2010

updated: July 16, 2010

The second edition of the Talent Campus Guadalajara for up-and-coming filmmakers and professionals from Central America and the Caribbean took place from March 11-15, 2010. New this year in Guadalajara: a brand new hands-on training programme for film critics, the Talent Press.

“Persuasion and Seduction, The Art of Storytelling.” The theme of Talent Campus Guadalajara 2010 reinforced the art of storytelling, taking up the cinematographic narrative as the topic for this year’s programme. The process of scriptwriting was considered from the perspective of all fields of work involved in audiovisual realisation, production and distribution.

International experts joined around 50 selected Talents (screenwriters, directors, producers, cinematographers, editors, actors and film critics), among them Michael Tolkin, Chiara Arroyo, José Carlos Avellar, Juan Carlos Ampié y Orlando Mora, Barry Gifford and others.

The Campus focused on creative exchanges and encouraged collaborations during an intensive programme, including master classes, discussion panels and workshops.
