Berlinale Talent Campus

February 12 — 17, 2011

The 2006 Talent Press

For the third year in a row, the Berlinale Talent Campus plays host to The Talent Press. A group of young film critics and journalists gain valuable writing experience and insight on the business of covering a big international film festival by being integrated into the pipelines of the Campus and the various other sections of the Berlin International Film Festival.

Over 100 aspiring writers from 40 countries applied for The Talent Press, and with the support of Goethe-Institut, Goethe Forum and FIPRESCI, eight of them have been invited to be an active part of the Working Campus. Under the supervision of film critics and journalists, Ulrich Gregor, Hugo Salas, Peter Cowie, and Derek Malcolm, the ten Talents will write articles, reviews and interviews, covering the activities of the festival and the Berlinale Talent Campus.

Every day from Feb 11 to Feb 16 these articles are published here on the Talent Press website, and are also uploaded onto the websites of Goethe-Institut (www.goethe.de) and FIPRESCI (www.fipresci.org). The Talent Press reflects the most interesting and most exciting activities at the Campus and reviews films of all sections from the Berlin International Film Festival in a subjective, critical and vivid manner. Be part of The Talent Press by visiting us daily!
