Berlin Today Award

The Berlin Today Award is the Short Film Competition of the Berlinale Talent Campus. It offers five talented directors the chance to produce a short film in cooperation with a Berlin / Brandenburg based production company. The five finalist films celebrate their world premiere during the Opening ceremony of the Berlinale Talent Campus. The winning film, chosen by a jury, receives the Berlin Today Award during a gala ceremony.

The 31st Durban International Film Festival announces the 3rd edition of Talent Campus Durban from July 23 – 27, 2010, under the topic "Focusing on Africa: Unleashing Talent in 2010". The Campus will centre activities on developing and strengthening partnerships between African filmmakers. more

As the Campus gets older, the network of former participants, experts, colleagues and mentors grows. To help get people in touch with another and keep everyone abreast of current projects, screenings, and other film wheels that have been set in motion, we provide both the Berlinale Talent Campus / Campus International participants and the general public with this database.
