Joel’s latest short film “Try”, which he co-wrote and directed in 2012 won 5 awards at the Namibia Film and Theatre awards (best original screenplay, best production design, best cinematography, best director and best short film 2012). His feature film debut “My Father’s son” (2010) was officially selected for the Pan African Film Festival in Los Angeles 2011, Pan African Film Festival in Cannes 2011, FESPACO in Ouagadougou 2011 and the Tri-continental film festival in Johannesburg 2011. His production company Joe Vision Production is planning a French-Namibian Co-Production and a British-Namibian-German co-production of a feature film titled “Feral” to be directed by Rodney Charles.
